Remo.

About us

We are building a community that dives to care for the Caribbean sea.

It all started in Taganga, between the salt and the urge to share what the sea gave us: calm, wonder and friendships that stay.

Today Remo is small, careful diving camps where you learn to breathe underwater with an instructor by your side and a group that becomes your people.

The goal goes beyond certifying divers: we want everyone who descends with us to leave the water wanting to protect the reef, its wildlife and the people who live off the sea.

How we are

Our
values

We care for the ocean

Low-impact diving: we never touch corals or wildlife and we leave no trace. The reef was here before us and stays after.

We regenerate

We want to give the sea back more than it gives us: supporting coral restoration and the conservation of Caribbean fauna and flora.

We create ambassadors

No one protects what they don’t know. Every diver leaves the water understanding the reef and wanting to care for it.

Founder · Diving instructor

Jose Fuentes

Barranquilla, Colombia

A diver and a lover of the sea. He found in diving a way to travel to another planet without leaving ours, and today his mission is to show it to those who have never gone down.

“Being underwater is a religious experience.”

Founder · Surf & diving

Jesús Pinilla

Barranquilla, Colombia

A surfer and a diver, and also a kitesurfer and wingsurfer: any excuse to get back in the water and push himself a little further. Teaching these sports is how he gives something back to the nature that gave them to him.

“The sport is the excuse. Honoring the sea is the point.”

Made with love in Colombia,
for the sea.
